Marine Ecosystems Services for Future Generations

On the 1st of July, SHAREMED partners organized dialogue and sharing between academia, research and monitoring institutions, regukatory authorities, business sector and society on MARINE ECOSYSTEMS SERVICES AND OBSERVATIONS OF THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT IN THE SECOND MEETING THAT CLOSED THE SUMMER SCHOOL 2022. 

The meeting was held in presence at IPMA-ALGÉS and online. 

The SHAREMED (SHAREMED ( project focuses on increasing the capabilities to assess and address hazards related to pollution and environmental threats in Mediterranean transnational waters. This goal is achieved by sharing knowledge, observations and technologies as well as building common frameworks, tools and services to assess and possibly forecast impacts of environmental threats to the marine ecosystems. The project focuses on selected causes of environmental hazard in agreement with stakeholders and regional strategies among pollution, changes in tropic regime, weather/climate change.

  • Lectures on marine ecosystems services and observations of the marine environment
  • Round table discussion
  • Socializing and networking
